This program uses an intensive instructional methodology program to prepare the participant for planning

and developing all aspects of course curriculum. The course also includes needs analysis, task analysis,

course goals and objectives, lesson plan development, instructional support materials, and evaluation

instruments.

Classroom Instruction May 18, 19, 25 with IFSAC testing on May 26

This course prepares fire service personnel to deliver instruction from a prepared lesson plan. Additional areas of responsibility will include assembling course materials, using instructional aides and evaluation tools, reviewing and adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students or groups, organizing, and providing a safe learning environment. The class will also cover the methods used to prepare and maintain training records in accordance with department standards.
